Description
Canberra City Farm is establishing learning hubs where the community can creatively share knowledge and experience of socially, economically and environmentally responsible food production and sustainable living. We have a range of activities that people can join in with, including regular working bees to maintain the farm and workshops to learn how to grow your own food, such as how to propagate your own vegetables from seed, how to preserve produce, how to prune and graft fruit trees, how to maintain soil feritlity using worms and compost, and many more. We also have projects focused on building energy efficient or building structures using natural building materials.
