“Nyumbani” in Swahili, one of the official languages in Tanzania, means “at home”.

For more then two years, from April 2015 till September 2017 we shared our home with you. In March 2018 our first child was born. Due to that face we are no longer able to host guests, tourists and traveller in our personal home so we moved the hostel to another place, only three walking minutes away from us. Nevertheless we kept the name because we still want to give you a home far away from home and the spirit of “Nyumbani” stays the same. We warmly welcome you, if you want to share share your time with us during your trip, be it either for a couple of days or months!

The money which we generate through the hostel will be used to support the different projects from our NGO.
